Code of Conduct

"Be respectful in your Language, Attitude, Attire, and overall Behavior."

We will not tolerate disrespectful language. What defines “disrespectful” is at the sole discretion of the Apartment of Education, the company, including our individual tutors, and may include any insulting, threatening, dishonest, hostile, hateful, discriminitory, and/or intrusively inquisitive language and/or communication about private personal matters such as appearances, finances, relationships, medical history, religious association, political affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other topics unrelated to the Private Tutoring service or curriculum therewithin engaged, unnecessary, and/or against any other rules, policies, or terms of service of the Apartment of Education.

We will not tolerate blatant or repeated academic dishonesty. We may ask questions regarding grades, teachers, classmates, assignments, tests, dates, etc., and our tutors cannot sufficiently operate helpfully or productively with answers provided which follow a pattern of being contradictory, misleading, and/or untrue.

We will not tolerate disrespectful attitudes, including but not limited to, failure to fruitfully engage with our tutor, screaming or talking over our tutor, logging off Google Meet intentionally and repeatedly without good reason, and/or any such behavior which causes our tutor to deem their efforts within a Private Tutoring service to be undermined, unheeded, unfruitful, unsafe, unhealthy, unproductive, and/or unsuccessful. 

We will not tolerate disrespectful attire, including but not limited to visible nudity, partial nudity, gang-affiliated regalia, and/or clothing or photography which display any such violations, including all other attire or on-screen visuals which are determined by the Apartment of Education and/or our tutor to be disrespectful or illegal.

We reserve the right and duty to report any and all illegal, illicit, and/or grossly negligent behavior witnessed Online by the Apartment of Education and/or our tutors to the legal parent/guardian/organization, as well as to the proper legal authorities when reasonable and/or as required by governing law or statute.

Any and all violations of the Apartment of Education Code of Conduct may cause:

(i) The immediate termination and Cancelation of your Private Tutoring service, and/or

(ii) A refund issued to you by the Apartment of Education for any unused prepaid tutoring hours, if applicable, minus a $50 fee, and/or

(iii) Our denial of any future services to you and/or the student associated with your account.
